Time is passing by

I Just feel to re post this post that I put up about seven years ago when I lived in Wales, as time means nothing to the Lord.  The booklet that I speak about in the older post has now been finished:-

For some time now I have felt that I want to put a little booklet together, but never seem to be able to make the time to do it.  I have created  several small booklets with my desk top publishing programmes in the past, some articles of which I have used in posts on my blog, and feel a strong urge to write another one.   So this may be the last post I will write for a while as I will not be able to spend so much time on blogging, although I will enjoy visiting other blogs to catch up on my reading now and again, and if I feel the urge to put up a post, will do so.   I thoroughly enjoy interacting with other bloggers, and thank other bloggers for interacting with me.  However, I  know there is a time for everything and do not want to miss the moment as time passes by quickly and I believe that the Holy Spirit is encouraging me to write this booklet, for whatever reason, and that I must respond to that encouragement to be in the will of the Lord.

'To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heavens'

Ecclesiastes ch.3 v.1

Two days ago I went to  a nature park with my sister to have a reunion with two old school friends.   I had visited this place before and taken some lovely pics of the swans there one Summer, so it was nice to re-visit it in Winter.

All things are passing by

There is a season for all things a time and purpose too
for God has fashioned every day that we must travel through
There is a season to be strong, a season to be weak
a time to give opinion and a time we should not speak
And whether things be good or bad, all things are passing by
for this world is a testing place to perfect both you and I
So do not worry if some days all things do not go right
just be yourself - maintain your ways, be honest in God's sight
And if today you need more strength or patience to endure
just call upon the Saviour's name, His counselling is pure
'Tis He alone who understands the 'wherefore's' and the 'why's'
and nothing in this world of man is hidden from His eyes
So seek instruction from the One who watches from above
for every word that comes from Him is blessed with grace and love

'Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him: but I will defend my own ways before Him.  He also shall be my salvation: for a hypocrite shall not come before Him.'
Job ch.13 vs.15,16

I just feel to add this short poem to encourage other believers to share what they feel led to
share.

The planting of a seed

You may not reap the harvest
of the work that you have done
may never know the outcome of your deed
but all that matters in God's eyes
is that you  do your best
to help another being with a need
You may say 'Did I do enough
and could I have done more?'
but the battle is not ours to fight
as our Saviour has already won the war

Amen, amen.

I hope I will still see you around. I have not been posting lately. In the past something always came to mind to say, but not recently. Lately I have just felt shh... so I am being quiet.

God bless you, Brenda. Stay in touch!

Hi Sandi,
I feel very similar to you, and I do know that there is a time for everything.I also believe that we are very close to the end times, and the Lord's return, after seeing what is going on in the world. Many scriptures come to my mind as I see what is on the news - such as:- 'The earth is stored up for fire' and 'Unless the Lord intervened all flesh would be destroyed.' God bless you Sandi, I will stay in touch.

Take your time away from blogging. But do return to it. It is important to be there for others who visit and read you. We never know how many visit but do not comment.

God bless always.

It seems God is taking you to another place. Like the poem you added on the last part of this post, God plants His believers in places where He wants us to be (sometimes, it may be very uncomfortable). The only question is if one is willing to obey and follow. Like what you reminded us of... We only share the Good News. It's up to God to make something grow. It will be interesting to see where you would be as you explore writing more for Him. God bless you and protect you sister Brenda. Stay strong in the Lord's mighty power.

Hi Victor,
thank you for your comment. I have always only put posts up on my blog when inspired to do so, but for some reason lately I have felt to search all the drawers and cabinets in my workroom as I have laminated poems, cards, booklets and everything that I have put together over the years, and I do not want them to be left doing nothing. Yes, many people visit blogs and do not comment as the stats on my design page shows me - from all over the world. I will be checking other blogs and commenting even if I do not put up a post for some time. God bless.

Hi RCUBEs
as I have just said to Victor I can only do what I feel the Lord is bringing me to do, and there is so much in my workroom that has been laying hidden for years. I have been invited to go onto Zoom with a church group I attended here for some time, but I am not sure about it. I know the Lord will lead me to do whatever, and if I am meant to put up another post I will. I will always come over to the blogger and check other blogs but I feel I have to really sort out the things that are lingering at the moment. The Lord knows why I feel like this, He is in complete charge of my life.
God bless you my sister in the Lord as you continue in the body of Christ on earth to do what you are called to do.

Hi Brenda,
Yes, God has appointed a time and season for everything, and we are surely in a difficult season now. Yet is encouraging to see so many signs of the End Times and realize that our blessed hope will soon come to pass. As my husband likes to say, "Don't die with the music still in you." I think it is wonderful that you are reposting what God has given you from before, so that more people can be blessed by it.
May God bless you and your lovely ministry,
Laurie

Hi Laurie, thank you for your kind comment. It is always good to interact and share with all what we feel to share, as you do too in your lovely ministry. There are so many things in the draws in my workroom that I have felt for a long time to give out to people that speak of our Lovely Lord Jesus. Please pray that the Lord will show me what to do with them. God bless.

Hi Brenda,
Praying for you for wisdom and Holy Spirit guidance to know how best to use and distribute the talents, resources and materials God has given you, to bear as much fruit as possible before He comes again. May He richly bless you and your ministry,
Laurie

Hi Laurie,
thank you for your prayer, for some reason it has very much come into my mind what I am to do with these items as sharing the gospel is so important in these times, as I know you know the importance of this too. God bless you as you share with this broken world what you have been given to share.

In all things, do it for the Glory of God. Shalom!

Brenda said...

Hi Keith,
that is right, for there is nothing in what we do that glorifies us.

1 Corinthians 15:58. Therefore, my beloved brothers ( dear Brenda) be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the LORD, knowing that in the LORD your labor is not in vain.

Brenda said...

Hi Aritha,
thank you for your encouragement, which is well needed in these turbulent times. I hope and pray that you are keeping well. God bless.

Hi David,
where you say leaflet, I have so many leaflets that I used to give out in the streets that I am not sure which one to point to. Some of them are on my other blog fatherithankyouforjesus.blogspot.co.uk I will look up the site you have given me.

Amen, Brenda! May we wisely use the gifts and resources He has so graciously appointed to us to reach others for His Kingdom, while there is still time. May God richly bless you and bring fruit to your ministry.

Brenda said...

Hi Laurie,
Yes, I pray that all of us in the Lord Jesus will endeavour to draw together with the fulness of what we have been given to spread the gospel to those who do not know Jesus as their saviour, and to encourage those who do know Him. God bless you as you do what you have been called to do Laurie.
