Catch up time

I am going to take a break from my blogging as I have many things to catch up on.  I love interacting on the blogs but I have realized that there are drawers full of unfinished writings and many other things in my workroom that need attending to, and I feel an urge to tackle them.  I will still pop over weekly to read what other bloggers have written, but unless I get on with other work (including my gardening), I will regret not having done it.

I came across some previous pics and poems that I have done and would like to put them up as an 'au revoir' until I am back blogging.

God bless everyone and hope to be back blogging in the not too distant future.

Dear Brenda,
I think you are wise to follow His leading in attending to other areas of ministry. This is often difficult, but sometimes He asks us to trust Him in pursuing His best, even if it means less time spent on the good. Praying for you and looking forward to your return to active blogging.
God bless,
Laurie

Oh Laurie,
I just came back in to put a butterfly on my post and found a comment from you, I have not long published this post. Thank you so much for your kind comment, and all the kind comments that you have made before. I know I have to deal with all the other things and time passes so quickly. God bless you and your family Laurie, and I too look forward to getting back to blogging.

Hi Brenda! I think blog-breaks are a great idea from time to time. It helps to clear the mind and refresh the soul.

I hope you will get lots of your work done around the house, and that you will relax too. Enjoy your time away. I'll look forward to seeing you again when you return.
Blessings,
Ceil

Hi Ceil,
I think the older I get the more I seem to get into. I really want to look into all my unfinished writings, and I have thoroughly enjoyed blogging but know that there is a time for everything and God willing will return to it again at the right time. I have enjoyed interacting with you and all the other bloggers and will pop over weekly to catch up on reading.
God bless

Blessings hon,

Thank you coG, I have loved interacting with others on a regular basis, but know that the time at this moment is for 'catching up' on what I know I should be doing.
God bless, will come over to visit you.

Wishing you all of God's blessings, Brenda.

Thank you Frank, I wish you and Alex all of God's blessings too. Will be over to read your post soon. I really want to catch up on all my unfinished writings and my daughter in law has given me a lovely new camera that I want to learn to use. I have enjoyed interacting with you as I have all the other bloggers.
Do not forget 'All things are possible with God'.

Just dropping by to say hello. Glad to hear all is well. :-) I've taken a break from blogging too, and I spend more time on other things I felt were perhaps being neglected. Really like the poem you shared here and I think I will share it with others. God Bless you Brenda. :-)

Lovely to hear from you Sateigdra,
I only come onto my blog now to answer comments that may be there, I really felt I needed a break to catch up on many other things. I enjoyed blogging but like all things, could not spend the time needed to read and interact and knew it was time to pull away for a while when I felt pressure by other things. God bless you too Sateigdra.

Thank you, Brenda, for your reply. I love the butterfly! This time of year they seem to be everywhere, dancing together and floating on the breeze. They remind me of His love, so beautiful yet gentle. God bless you.

yes Laurie, the butterfly is beautiful and it reminds me of God's love for us too. One day we shall fly away so free, just as it does, after leaving the chrysalis of transformation into His image.
God bless you Laurie

Hi Tim,
lovely to see you, would you believe - you came into my mind yesterday. I met a woman that I was in school with so many years ago while I was out in Port Talbot yesterday who I was thinking about the day before. I find things like this so strange, and it is always lovely to have contact with people again that you haven't interacted with for some time. Thank you for your kind comment. I haven't painted for some time, and I am not the best, but my favourite is portrait painting. When I lived in the last town I knew an alcoholic man who used to be on the streets a lot. He had a wonderful face for painting and I said to him one day 'Don't shave your beard Ivor until I have taken your photograph.' Poor Ivor's beard grew so long because I forgot to carry my camera with me, and I thanked him and told him not to wait for me with a memory like I have. I eventually came across a picture of an Israeli druz who looked just like him and painted that. I hope you are well Tim and will soon be blogging again.

Hi Brenda,
The butterflies are enjoying our garden this time of year, and we enjoy watching them fly about gently on the breeze. Praise God for His transforming power!

Hi Ceil,
yes still on my blog break, lots happening. Hopefully return one day. Had to call over to blog list as I have missed reading.

Hi Laurie,
lots of butterflies in our garden too, and the field has been harvested over the back wall. Lots of red kites around (birds of prey).

Thank you Laurie,
I absolutely love having my times and trust in our lovely Lord. Who could want for a better life and family?

Thanks for stopping by my blog! It's good to hear from someone who has experienced being confronted on the matter. It's definitely both an encouragement and lesson for me, to see how you handled it.

Proverbs 15:1
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

God bless,
Alyssia.

Hi Alyssia,
so true. That scripture was highlighted to me so many times when I first came to the Lord, and has helped me and still does help me in my walk with Him. The two people who asked me that question worked with me in care work and accepted that answer. I believe it was acceptable because it was God's words(scripture} spoken, which can not go out and come back void to Him.
God bless you.
