Our Beloved Tinker, a gift from the Lord

Our beloved cat, Tinker, the one shown in the last but one post (not the one spoken of in that post) has sadly had to be put to sleep after a long illness that could no longer be treated.  She had hyperactive thyroid, and ended up just skin and bone with her back legs finally giving way. We are very sad at the moment, she had been with us for sixteen years after having her from Cat's Protection Rescue Centre at the age of four. So she had a very long life filled with our love. I may not be catching up on blogger friend sites for a while. God bless all my blogger friends until next time. Stay safe in the Lord.

Dear Brenda,
So very sorry to hear this. Pets truly become members of the family. She was blessed to be in such a loving home, just as you were blessed to have her. may you have the peace that passes all understanding, from the God of all comfort.
God bless you,
Laurie

Thank you Laurie,
it has been very hard to accept that she has gone. She has always been a house cat in each of the five houses she has lived in with us. We hope that one day in the near future we will be able to get an older cat very similar to her. It is very difficult in these covid 19 times but, as you have said, the love we shared during those sixteen years will always remain in our hearts. God bless you Laurie.

Hi Brenda,
Any cat would be blessed to live in your loving home. May you have wisdom in knowing when and which cat to adopt. God bless you,

Hi Laurie, we have brought home another cat from the rescue centre, she is very loving, a little nervous but loves her ears tickled 🐱😾. We have called her Tinker. She is settling in well.

O, that is so sad. How is it now with you? My condolences, Brenda.
And do I read it well? Is there a new cat in your home now?

Brenda said...

Hi Aritha, we will never forget our first Tinker, grieving takes a long time, but our new Tinker is beautiful and is also a rescue cat. There is always sadness in the life of a rescue cat, so getting her from Cat's protection was very important. Thank you for your kind thoughts. God bless you.

How are you, Brenda?

Hi Sandi,
I have not posted on my blog for a long time as I have been in a prayer time daily with my friend in Wales concerning both our promises from God. I am continually spoken to daily by the Word given to me from the scriptures, and there is a lot going on here at the moment, but over the next couple of days I hope to spent some time reading other blogs - yours especially. I believe absolutely that we are close to the Lord coming back, and that it is very important that we spread the gospel, whether it be on the internet or in the streets with people the Lord leads us to in these troublesome times. All that is prophesied regarding the end times is happening around the world. God bless you Sandi as you do what the Lord has called you to do, and thank you for your kindness as a sister in the body of Christ on earth.

Thank you, Brenda. It's good to hear from you. I have been thinking a lot about these things. It's become painful to watch. Praying for our world, people who come to mind, and posting a few things here and there. It is all so sad. I know things can change quickly, but it is hard to imagine.

That's right Sandi, it is hard to imaging through our carnal minds but we know through the mind of Christ that ALL things are possible with our Father God. God bless you Sandi.

Hi Louise,
thank you for your kind comment, I only just checked my blog comments. We have another rescue cat who is settling in well, I think she is 'Tinker' the 4th -:) and there are lots of things going on here at the moment so I haven't had time to get back blogging. I am slowly putting a post together, and will hopefully get back to reading other blogger's posts soon. Thank you for your big hug! time and distance mean nothing on the internet.

How is it now with 'Tinker' the 4th? And with you, Brenda?

Brenda said...

Hi Aritha, our 'Tinker' the 4th has settled in really well, she loves playing with cat toys. I keep meaning to get a catchup with bloggers and put up another post, but I am a person who does ten jobs at once and each one a bit at a time:-). Time goes by so quickly.
