In these troubled times I just feel led to share three of my poems with you .
Freedom - the right to choose
How can it be called 'freedom'
having the right to choose
if when I have to have my own way
then others have to lose
For who's to say that I am right
and all around are fools
not one can have perfection
while all have their own rules
No - freedom is not when things suit me
'Freedom'...is when there's harmony
having the right to choose

The way to Your heart
Not by good looks or prettiness
are You influenced my Lord
neither colour nor creed, high position or fame
can cause You to change Your Word
are You influenced my Lord
neither colour nor creed, high position or fame

You're not tempted by what's on the outside
to change justice or judgement or truth
and neither can Your Holy wisdom
be acquired through age or through youth
For the way to Your heart is through Jesus
He's the narrow road we must all take
the Lamb without blemish - our Saviour
Who was sacrificed for mankind's sake
He's not only our Mediator
He's a teacher and councillor too
He's the One used when You my dear Father
said 'Behold I make all things new'.
The Witness
He came like a sun in this darkened world
to bring knowledge of God and His ways
bringing light for man's blinded eyes to see
giving warmth to man's soul with His rays
When His time came to go - to return to His home
He did not leave the world without light
but established His church as a witness to be
like a moon shining bright in the night

Hi Laurie, yes it is awful what Putin is doing. What keeps coming into my mind is "Unless God intervened, all flesh would be destroyed. There is only One winner, and it is the Creator of this world. I pray that the evil spirit within Putin will be taken from him. God less you for your very kind comment Laurie.

There is no official in power unless God ordained it to fulfill His purposes, which must be the case with Putin as well, perhaps to fulfill End Times prophecy by uniting the EU against Putin and being one of the final "wars and rumors of wars." But I agree that his evil must be stopped, and I pray daily for the deliverance of Ukraine. God bless you Brenda.
Beautiful poems. The last one is my favorite! I know I have been MIA as far as the blogging world is concerned, but I still think of you, Brenda..and revisit my friends from blogger. Pray all is well with you and your husband.

yes, every day of our lives is written in His book before even one of them was formed. He knows the way we take and although many of those poor people in Ukraine have been killed I know that they are in a much better place of perfect peace than could ever be found anywhere on this earth. My husband and myself are going through some physical trials at the moment but I pray persistently that the Lord will remove what the enemy has inflicted upon us. We all know Lisa, that as long as we are in the Lord, even though we go through trials all is well. God bless you with all the Lord has for us.

Hello again Brenda, I decided for that particular blog to turn off the comment feature. I thought about this after I commented above. Because it is more of a daily diary and is mostly unedited..I want to keep it as just a place to freely post without second thought, authentic and in the moment. I hope you can understand.
