A kaleidoscope has always been something that has fascinated me since I was a small child. It is an optical instrument which has a tube containing two reflecting surfaces inclined to each other at a suitable angle. These two surfaces are able to exhibit, by reflection, the most incredibly beautiful colours and symmetrical forms from just ordinary pieces of coloured glass.
I am reminded by it of the plan of salvation that was brought about when God said in Genesis ch. 1 v.26 'Let us make man in our image' God and His Son Jesus Christ can make a beautiful new creation out of sinful man.
And this is eternal life,
that they know thee, the
only true God, and Jesus
Christ, whom thou has
sent.
John ch. 17 v.3

Brenda, I've always loved kalidoscopes, too. I so love the analogy you've made here today. God bless!
Amen, amen, amen.
Hello Brenda! I also had a kaleidoscope when I was a child. I liked looking at the patterns in the kaleidoscope. Brenda, God bless you!
Hi Martha Jane, thankyou for your kind comment, the kaleidoscope is amazing. God bless.
Hi Sandi, glad you agree. God bless.
Hi Irina, lovely to hear that you had a kaleidoscope when you was a child. Yes, the patterns are beautiful. God bless you too.
A kaleidoscope? Yes, I remember those. As a boy, I had one. The outer casing was of a highly decorated metal, and I was mystified how the interior reflection seen from the eyepiece was different from its exterior view.
Blessings to you and your family.
Hi Frank, the kaleidoscope is a truly amazing thing. God bless you and Alex too, with all He has for us in Jesus.
Hi Brenda, What a lovely illustration! I loved kaleidoscopes as a child, and I had one with interchangeable caps, one of which was empty for you to fill with whatever you liked. Even ordinary objects took on new life and intricate patterns when reflected in the mirrors, just as our imperfections reflected in God's light can take on a new beauty and ordered design. God bless you,
Laurie
