My Testimony

I just feel to re post my testimony to glorify my Saviour Jesus Christ.

Many years ago I had recorded onto a cassette some poems and songs that I had written.  They related part of my testimony.  While I was living down in West Wales an elder of a church I was attending put them on an mp3 disc for me.  As I know very little about this kind of technology I have just been to the library to ask if anyone can link this disc to my blog.  A young lady there has done her best regarding this, and so I am going to see if this link has worked - the young lady was not sure if it would.  Most of these songs and poems I may have already put up, and I am definitely no  'singer', and only learned a few chords on my guitar to be able to play the tunes that came into my head at the time of writing the songs.
However - one thing I learned at that time of learning from the Lord was  that as we are taught by God through His precious Word, and go through our trials trusting in Him, we are able to get stronger spiritually.  My journey is still on-going, I am forever learning, and I will not know whether this link will work until I publish this post.  If it doesn't work, then I will have lost nothing through trying.:-)

Hi Brenda, The link works perfectly and the audio plays without a hitch. You have a lovely speaking and singing voice—and I thought as I listened about 1 Corinthians 14 that tells us to fellowship together—each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation.

It's so wonderful that technology allows me to not only hear words and music that you recorded years ago—but I can sit in my home more than an ocean apart and hear you testify about the Love and Grace from our Father in Heaven.

My car is in the shop and I need to run but I will come back and give your recording a complete listen asap (so far I've listened to about half).

God Bless and Heal you my Warrior Sister! I'm still praying for you and the dry bones of Israel and the Church

That was wonderful, Brenda. I listened to the whole thing. I like your matter-of-fact way of telling the story. You have a lovely voice!

Hi Jephyr,
thank you for your very kind comment, all glory to our precious Lord. I put this post up about two years ago, and the words pre the testimony were written long ago. The reason I wanted to put it up again is that our Lord is barely recognised or spoken of in the UK these days and Christmas is all about Santa and gifts. There is even talk about stopping assemblies in schools. Thank you for your prayers, I join you with them regarding the dry bones.
God bless.

Hi Sandi,
thank you for your very kind comment - I would never say I have a great voice :-) but the Lord gave all of the songs and poems to me in order that I would be able to evangelise in the streets for many years with my friend in Wales, and I just want to glorify our Saviour at this time of year.
God bless you Sandi.

You're so welcome, Brenda. I thought your recording sounded familiar. :)

I have heard that the UK is increasingly secularized. It's sad because so many of the great men of God like Tyndale and Wycliffe, Knox, Whitefield, and many others arose from the British isles.

Many of us in the US are praying for revival here—and though I've been praying in general for the dry bones of the church, Israel, and entire world—I will specifically add the UK to my prayers.

God Bless you warrior sister

Hi Brenda,
Praise the Lord for your testimony and beautiful songs and voice! The audio worked smoothly from my computer as well. May God bless you richly as you continue to share His Word and to uplift others, using the gifts He has given you.

Hi Laurie, Yes it is always to praise our beautiful Saviour with whatever we have been given to share. As you too have said in your blog post, the Lord is being taken our of the Christmas celebration. I will never celebrate a 'Santa' Christmas. Even where many call CHRISTmas Xmas, do you see how the true reason for the celebration has been removed? We will continue to spread the true gospel together Laurie, all who believe!
God bless you and yours, I hope your husband is improving, with God all things are possible.

Hi 'STUFF',
I am glad that you have been inspired by what I write here on this blog. All glory to God and our Lord Jesus Christ, as all poems, songs and everything contained in my blogs only came about after I became born again of God's Holy Spirit.
God bless you and yours as we celebrate the birth of our Saviour.

Hi Keith, I know you have listened to it before. I just wanted to post it again to glorify the Lord and how He can change us when we believe.
